Hi I'm Michi! An oceanographer who thrives on connecting with others and is passionate about ocean conservation, art, and sharing science with people from all walks of life.

Before diving into oceanography, I was a project manager for an NGO, where I collaborated closely with creators and discovered an inner passion for leadership. This role strengthened my skills in coordinating, managing stakeholder communications, problem-solving and beyond.

As an oceanographer, I have worked on several projects, including assessing the biodiversity of deep-sea ecosystems and their importance in the face of threats, such as climate change and potential deep-sea mining.
